Croagh Patrick
Croagh Patrick (764 m) offers a wonderful view on Clew Bay and its dozens islands. The walk starts at Murrisk car park and takes 2 or 3 hours.

Achill Island
Achill Island is a mere 30 minutes from the door. It offers five blue flag beaches, watersport activities, historic buildings and golf. For breathtaking coastal scenery, follow the Atlantic Drive (for those who like a challenge, try it by bicycle!).

Connemara National Park
One of the six National Parks in Ireland, it was created in 1980. The park covers 29.57 km˛ of mountains, forests and bogs. Go to its visitor center and learn about irish peat land, discover the earth of Connemara (Twelve Bens) along very well equipped trail. For more information, visit the
